When the unexpected
comes your way,
it can be
a real bummer,

but, even then,
unlikely turns can come again,

resurrected is you day–

in fact,
a real ding-hummer.

Just follow
what shall be your yen
and you may be surprised,
yet once again,

when you see
you had not even
reached the summit,
but there it is
and that eventuality
is there,
within your stare,
and before you breathe
tomorrow’s air,
and not only MAY this come to be,

but as part of your reality
you peek down
from that peak with glee–

though it reeks improbability,
nonetheless may come it.
