Take heart.
Your heart.
If you can.
When you can.
And listen to its beat.

Feel it,
sit within it,
don’t retreat.

Feel the feel
between the beats,

and soak in
all the rich fresh air
that’s infused through
and carried there
to blood-gush out
to everywhere,

when you rise again,
your trusty, sturdy,
smart, hard-working
spry and nimble
lovely feet,

which take you
where you need to go
to walk the walk
prescribed by
your heart’s very steady beat
and loving, curving flow.
