When you give yourself
all that you need
in parts of you
that feel like a baby,

you then live well–
yourself you aptly feed,
and the crimson heart of you
can skip from no to yes,
bypassing anguished maybes,

and your life sprouts
a fresh young order and norm,
to nourish courage in the gut of you,
and delight you in your every sense,
so sweet and light and savory.
