HOURS FOR SLEEPING

Those who slump before a screen
in the hours made for sleeping,
with the Universe’s wider view
are not in such good keeping–

Yes, human hubris makes them think
that they forever more can do this,
and, for a stretch, it seems quite plain
their thinking really true is,

And yet,
there comes a space and time,
when the limits set within the Infinite
into the light come slowly creeping.
