DON’T JUST DO SOMETHING– SIT THERE!

Don’t just do something– sit there!
No–
not on the phone–
not on the computer–

Sit,
take in fresh air. . .

allow a spate
of stillness there,

in which the outer din
can fade,

and inner whisperings
enter in,
in the very kindest flow,
which puts you
in the deepest know,

so you can
call a spade a spade,

and then, proceed
in honest, natural motion,
and dedicate yourself
to who and what you are,

touching minds and hearts
both near and far,
in generous and wonderous
devotion.
