Life is dangerous.

But that is
what’s been given
as fair game for us. . .

So, we must be game
to enter in
and walk and work and play our paths,

and risk
whatever riches, love and fame we have,

to seek what we most truly want. . .
and, if we only listen to our heart,
we need not too oft
the question,
“Just what DO I want?”
to ask. . .
and we can find it.

And, at least
not fail to make a mark–
perchance a brilliant trail–
and maybe even
also make a name for us.
