Wednesday’s maybe
wed to Ness,
a dark, old Loch
where a creature dwells
that’s all too often mocked,
and no one hardly sees. . .

But one day,
we may be surprised
if one day,
Nessie comes to rise,
and what she has to offer us
+++++ by way of secrets
+++++ of our past
++++++++++ that shine light
++++++++++ on our current days
+++++++++++++++ so easily
+++++++++++++++ as through clear glass
++++++++++ will let us see them,
++++++++++ clear and deep
++++++++++ with open, brand-new eyes
++++++++++ to better travel through our days
++++++++++ and rest quite easy in our sleep.
