HEY DOC!– IT HURTS. . .

“Hey Doc!
It hurts,
when I do this. . .”

Well,
I could tell you,
“Don’t do that.”

But,
until you find
your way
to release,
and say farewell
to that old pain,

so you can
do that thing,
pain-free,
again
(unless it’s really
reckless or extreme),

you may find
that you drag
behind
in your quest
for lasting bliss,

and,

while you still swing
+++++ your well-learned
+++++++++++++++wild swings
+++++++++++++++++++++++++ from the reckless
to the clings
at cautious safety,

your life may seem
a little flat.
