realize yourself–
for you were given
human eyes–

and your deep soul
accepts no compromise,

and will not be appeased,
not even by the choicest prize
that you can spy
on any sales
or upscale fancy

So don’t look there,
for, despite alluring shine and glare
you’ll not find satisfaction there–
you need a deeper kind of wealth. . .

so move right on,
for you’ve got things
you know your heart
has set its sights on,

and your precious body-brain
will revel in the wonders,
though it periodically
astray does wander,

but in the main,
it will keep pace
with your strong heart,
and relish all those wonders
just as well.
