To throw your hat over a fence–
it seems a cinch,
though you know you have to follow.. .

But will you throw your hat
into the ring,
where all eyes look,
and others for the one same prize
with you are vying?

Or will you let your dreams lay fallow?

Will you follow through with it?

You ready your best arm
and prep your hat to fling,
and no one knows a thing
of what you’re willing
to give to it. . .

The secret’s in the call
that in your heart does sing,
and the answer’s only clear
when there
you bend your sense and ear,

all while the crowd is waiting,
your reply to hear.

They want to know,

“Will you cut straight through your fear,
and throw that hat
to just where the action’s at?–

“We’ve been waiting long enough
to see if you will have the guts,
So, that’s it now–
your time is up!

“Tell us– WILL you do it?”
