what you have kept
with safeguards legion,
so quite well hidden
in plain sight
may be the key
to set your free
to walk your destined
path of light. . .

Resist temptation
thus to think,
it doesn’t matter either way,

ere you’ve seen the end of day,
if you don’t see it,
out it,
use it,
it’s not just you yourself who’ll lose it–

but a whole slew of other folks and things
who’ll miss the electricity
that to the world
that long-tight-furled,
delightful gift of yours
uniquely brings.
