RESPIRE, INQUIRE

Respire. . .
Inquire. . .
Feel deep inside–
do not try to hide
within,

nor blind your vision:
dare
to peer
into the layer
of mire. . .

whisper
a prayer. . .

allow your heart to beat
and,
in its loops,
your blood to flow,
your lungs to fill
and void complete
the air. . .

And then
relax. . .

take time to bask
in warm, gold light,
and know well that
though it may,
today,
not seem
within your sight,

One day,
fresh life
will through you,
with you
in you,
teem. . .
and everything
will truly
be all right.
