A QUIET MOMENT OF DECISION

A few minutes ago, I noticed that I was eating my lunch worriedly.

In the moment of decision of whether I wanted to eat some more, I just told myself that I did not want to be worried, and then I wasn’t.

At that point, I was clear enough in my mind and body to feel satisfaction with what I had already eaten, and confidence that I’d had all that I needed. I was ready to move on with my day.
