WHEN IT SEEMS YOU’RE FALLING APART AT THE SEAMS

When it seems
you’re falling apart
at the seams,
take heart!

It’s a fairly neat way
to fall apart–

no messy rip or tear there–
no over-massaging or rubbing or chafing
has unfaced your facing–
or made you threadbare. . .

So, all that you need’s
a little time, love, and care. . .

and someone with needle and thread
who’s got even a little
sew-know-how
in her head,
who can, in a bit,
go on to effect
a smooth, pretty,
and lasting
repair!
